E2 will not refer Entertainers blindly. If we are not confident that there is a perfect fit, we will not book or refer the talent. In our Roster, we truly have weeded out the best of the best on any level of budget for any type of Event.

Do's and Don'ts
You and the Guests come first. Not only is it important to us to hand pick Entertainment, it is equally important to know about your Event, guests, venue, ages, themes, etc.

We are here to help! There are many mistakes that can be made when choosing Entertainment. Every Event location, size of party, atmosphere, budget, age of guests, acoustics of the facility, weather and many other factors can dramatically change the Appropriateness of certain types of Entertainment you might be considering. If another Entertainer or Entertainment company doesn't care about these factors, then you are just another dollar to them and they may not offer your guests anything special. Sometimes, nothing can go wrong... but often, the wrong Entertainers will take a "gig" that truly does not suit them, the venue or the guests correctly. We could list endless examples here but it is best to talk to us or Rich personally and look at your Event specifically.

Here are just a few ideas which can greatly improve your use of Entertainment.

•Event Location A creates an atmosphere that is Impossible for guests to talk and enjoy each others company because Band B is not background music AND Event Location A is acoustically horrible for a rather loud, live band. Perhaps a classy solo music artist would be a better fit?

•Event Location B has lots of ins and outs with various rooms with guests. It might be a perfect fit for several smaller acts and/or a strolling Entertainer.

•Event location C is "L" shaped. Half the group will not see the stage if placed at the end of the room. Worse, Entertainment Group A can not perform correctly with guests behind them if the stage IS centered. Perhaps a DJ that can fit in the corner and be seen from multiple angles is a better choice this time.

•Entertainer F from Entertainment Company D is only going to charge you $50. Trust us, your guests will get what you pay for! If the budget is that tight, perhaps there is some advertisement opportunities for our Entertainer to allow for an under market fee. Perhaps, when we describe the cons to getting an amateur, you might consider paying just a little more for a class act.

•Event Location X has a large open area, stage and the guests are young. Perhaps Band A is the best fit for them!

•Your guests are waiting to have that one minute of congratulations with the Bride and Groom. Perhaps at Wedding A, there are numerous people that do not know each other and it might be appropriate to have a Strolling Entertainer help break the ice and introduce families and friends.

•Private Event K is for a 4 year old. Kids under 10 wont even understand the fast paced, interactive "magic" from people like Rich Ferguson. Please inquire about a Children's or Family Magician instead. On the contrary, Event A is all adults and it might be far more sophisticated to have a skilled sleight of hand artist and interactive Entertainer.

•Does the Enterainer from Company F have insurance, a business licence or use a contract? To protect you and your guests, it might be wise to only use a professional.

The important point being make is that one may plan to have a DJ or Magician, but the range of appropriateness is huge. If the "fit" for the Entertainer is considered, you'll get a professional and you'll have a much more successful event! Here's a tip. Think about someone calling us who wants to inquire about something as vague as music... that's all, they just want music and just want to know the price of hiring for some music. We would have to know what type! Rock? Classical? A guitarist? A full blown country band or simple background music? What is the size of the venue? What are the ages and likes of the guests? What are the rules of the Venue? What type of party and for what time line? We might need many more questions answered before we can even start correctly. Again, if another company just gives a price and the case is closed, then you are certainly not be treated special or getting the best choice to fit your special event.
